Salman kahn,karan johar as co producer with new project as hero akshay kumar 2018.

A big-ticket entertainer is in the making, as superstar Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Karan Johar are coming together for a movie slated to release in 2018.

The trio took to their social media accounts to make one the first biggest announcements of the New Year.

The yet untitled project will be produced by Salman and Karan, while Akshay kumar will star in the lead role.

"Joining hands on a project where akshaykumar is the hero and will be co produced by karanjohar and SKF," the 51-year-old star.

The "Sultan" actor will be producing the movie under his banner Salman Khan Films (SKF).
The movie will mark the debut of top Punjabi director Anurag Singh who will helm this special project. Anurag has directed hit Punjabi films like Jatt and Juliet and Punjab 1984.

Akshay and Salman’s friendship goes back a long way and both have starred together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Jaan-E-Mann.

Salman has always gone out of his way to praise Akshay as the only actor from their times who has grown both in terms of acting and stature. The Sultan star even made a surprise entry at 2.O launch in Mumbai to lend support to Akshay Kumar’s southern magnum opus starring Rajinikanth.
