Dangal 2nd Saturday Box Office Collection: Dangal continues to create history at the box office. After a record breaking hold yesterday, it has opened to a terrific response on the second Saturday too. There has been a good growth despite the fact that yesterday was super strong. Dangal 2nd Saturday Box Office Collection Update

The film opened to a huge 55% occupancy in the morning shows. There is around 15% jump from yesterday. The occupancy level is on par with the opening day and better than all the releases of this year except Sultan. It is very solid in North India as the occupancy is ranging between 65-70% there at places. The film has also got the tax free status which is helping Dangal collection. Delhi/NCR, Haryana and Punjab belt can hit record number after the second week only.

It will again witness an upward trend in the evening as tomorrow is a holiday. The impact will be higher today due to the new year’s eve. Normally the biggies, if accepted, tend to show big gains on 2nd Saturday but Dangal is already collecting very high (8th day was 20% higher than PK all time record). So there is a possibility that it may not show the ideal growth but again it is Dangal which is doing unthinkable so far. So nothing can’t be ruled out. Dangal 2nd Saturday collection will go over 20 crore and will set a new all time record.

Yesterday, the film has created history by collecting 18.50 crores. The expectations from Aamir Khan are always too high but it is the first time that Dangal has surpassed expectations. Now the only sky is the limit as far the lifetime is concerned. All the records of PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan are likely to be shattered. Even the possibility of 400 crore can’t be ruled out completely. Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, Dangal has become the first film to gross Rs. 400 crore in just eight days.

As far the early trends, Dangal 9th day collection is all set to cross 23 crore. If it showed bigger growth in the evening then it has chances to come close to 25 crore mark.
